Some weekends do not stay in my head as a clean timeline. They stay as color, noise, laughter, sweat, people moving around us, and that very specific feeling of looking over at Randy and knowing I was exactly where I wanted to be.
What I love about this set is that it does not feel staged. It feels lived in. It was me, Randy, and our friends moving through a happy pocket of life where getting dressed up, going out, and being a little ridiculous still felt easy. There is affection all through these photos. Not polished affection. Real affection. The kind that shows up in blurry smiles, close faces, costumes, and the way we kept making little memories inside the bigger event.
I cut this one down on purpose. A lot of the original cluster was noise, repeats, or things that belonged to the same date but not the same emotional memory. These are the frames that still feel like us. They carry the energy I actually want to keep.
